Access to the Throne of God - Hebrews 13
The blood of Jesus offered to the Father for our sins, makes our salvation possible, and gives us access to God’s throne of grace. The book of Hebrews closes out with great words of exhortation and encouragement. We are told to keep loving our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are encouraged to remember those in prison and those mistreated because of the gospel. We are exhorting to honor our marriage vows and pray for our leaders.
How fitting that Hebrews closes out with a prayer that God would equip us to do His will and that He would produce fruit in us through His Holy Spirit. At last, we are urged to pay attention to the things written in this book. It cost Jesus a great price to give us access to the throne of God. Let us come before that throne every day to thank Jesus for His great salvation and the fellowship we have with Him through faith in His “Awesome Sacrifice.”
