Acts of the Holy Spirit: Chapter 27
Very few people have suffered more for Christ then the Apostle Paul. In chapter 27 he is caught out on the sea in a typhoon. We see God’s divine protection of Paul and everyone on board the ship. God sent an angel to comfort and protect Paul and all his companions in the midst of a storm.
There will be storms in our life sooner or later and we need the comfort of knowing that our Lord can deliver us as he did Paul. It was a miracle that none of the men were lost in the shipwreck. Paul’ courage in the midst of the storm was a testament to his faith. How we react in the midst of difficult times will say a lot about our faith. Paul’s faith led him to have influence with these men who were desperate. There are a lot of desperate people today looking for someone to trust in. May our life be filled with the Holy Spirit so we can influence others for Christ.
