Acts of the Holy Spirit: Chapter 8
The Holy Spirit was moving powerfully in Acts chapter 8. The Spirit had began His work in Jerusalem and now He begins to scatter these spirit filled believers all over the world. People we’re being introduced to the gospel and the Holy Spirit was drawing many to come to faith in Christ. Phillip went to Samaria, Peter and John went to Samaria and many villages around Samaria, preaching the gospel. The Spirit led Phillip to leave Samaria and encounter a man from Ethiopia, who gave his life to Christ and was baptized.
We are praying in our church for The Spirit of God to move powerfully in Wilmer. May God draw the church together, fill us with His Spirit and scatter us into the world to bring light to those who live in darkness.
