Acts of the Holy Spirit: Chapter 9
The power of the Holy Spirit to transform people is on display all through the book of Acts. Here in chapter 9 we have the greatest enemy of Christ and His church, Saul of Tarsus, suddenly transformed by the Holy Spirit to become the greatest witness for Christ.
Some of us here at Wilmer are meeting together each Wednesday evening at 7:00, at the church and praying for the Holy Spirit of God to move in Wilmer like He did on the road to Damascus. We want to see God instantly change lives and issue callings as He did in Paul’s life. We are crying out for God to demonstrate His awesome power in this little town of Wilmer. “Why not Wilmer?” God knows we need Him to move in this nation and why not begin in Wilmer? The book of Acts is an open ended book that hasn’t been completed. The Holy Spirit is still moving and what He is doing in our lives is a new chapter of the Acts of the Holy Spirit that began at Pentecost. Pray with us that God would stir hearts beginning at the Baptist church in Wilmer. To God be all the glory!
