Hebrews: Access to the Throne of God - Day 2
Hebrews chapter two begins by challenging us to remain focused on the Word of God so that we don’t drift away from fellowship with Him. That is why we need to spend time with God and His Word each day. We are weak at times and prone to fail. Satan knows how to tempt us in our weakest moments. Hebrews tells us that Jesus came to deliver us from the power of sin. He gives aid to His children who trust in Him.
Jesus endured suffering and overcame temptation that He might be the captain of our salvation. His righteousness and obedience in offering Himself as a perfect sacrifice, has secured salvation and victory for all who trust in Jesus to save them. He is our faithful High Priest and is able to come to our aid when we are tempted, praise God!
