We receive the Holy Spirit as a gift from God when we are saved. The Holy Spirit is our “helper” our personal guide to navigating life. The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in our life. As we spend time with God in a special place every day, we are putting ourselves in a position to be encountered by God. When God sees that we are serious about connecting with Him, He will supply through the Holy Spirit the power to transform our lives to be like Him. Spending time with Him each day is the pathway to the “abundant life.”
