Meaningful Moments with God - Day 19
The two most significant events that have taken place in the history of the world, took place in a span of 3 days. The crucifixion of Christ and the resurrection of Christ. These two events marked the pinnacle for the history of mankind as Holy God brought His Only Son to Jerusalem to die for the sins of man. The earth shook and the sun was darkened as the Savior hung on the cross. The writer of Hebrews said, “By one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being saved.”
I am glad that God has given me some time to reflect and remember today, the awesome sacrifice He made in sending His Son to die for my sin. These two events that took place almost 2000 years ago have changed my life forever. They made possible my relationship with Christ and made me an heir to the kingdom of God. May we join together in spirit today, spend some time with our Lord, and worship Him.
