Meaningful Moments with God - Day 5
When we spend time with God He begins to change our desires to bring them in line with His desires for us. In that quiet place where we get alone with God, that is where He begins to transform us to be like Him. God has the desire that we be like Him. God says “Be holy for I am holy.” God is the one who makes us holy in our conduct and character. To be like Him we have to spend time with Him. There is an old hymn that we sang in church years ago, “Take Time To Be Holy” was the name of it. One of the verses said “ Take time to be holy, the world rushes on, spend much time in secret, with Jesus alone, by looking to Jesus, like Him thou shalt be, thy friends in thy conduct, His likeness shall see.
Spending time with The Lord daily helps us live holy and the Holy Spirit that lives within us will empower us to be disciples who make disciples.
