Meaningful Moments with God - Day 6
As I went out this morning to walk and pray and spend time with God, the Lord reminded me to look for Him. We pray and seek the Lord but sometimes we get so caught up in praying and asking God for what we need that we fail to look for His presence in our lives. I have learned that God often reveals Himself in ways that we will miss if we aren’t careful to look for Him. It could be circumstances He arranges, a word spoken by a friend, a verse of scripture that jumps out at you, a song that you catch yourself singing.
When I have my quiet time with God, I ask Him to reveal Himself to me in some way and help me to see Him in the mysterious ways He moves in our lives. It is exciting to know that God has said that if I would draw close to Him, He would draw close to me. I never know when or how He is going to reveal Himself to me but knowing that He will keep me excited with anticipation of an encounter with Him that will bless my life.
