Psalms: Truth and Treasures 13
Growing up in church, years ago, one of my favorite hymns was “Count Your Blessing.” This old hymn reminded us to count our blessings and name them one by one, and it would amaze us what the Lord has done. Taking time to spend with God each day helps us to be thankful for what God has done for us, our family and our church.
Psalm 96 exhorts us ”to proclaim the good news of His salvation everyday.” In this Psalm there is a call for the heavens, the seas, the fields and the trees to rejoice before the Lord. We are called to “Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” we are reminded of the “Awesomeness of God” and let’s us praise Him and give Him glory.
