Psalms: Truth and Treasures Day 6
Spending time with God each day helps us to maintain a proper perspective and appreciation for who God is. In this generation, where so many deny or doubt the existence of God, it is profitable for us to stay grounded in God’s Word. When modern humanistic teaching wants to explain God away, we have the Word of God to explain who God is. David, three thousand years ago, understood more about the creation of the earth and man than most of the scholars of today.
David, through his spending time with God, came to a deeper understanding of the “Awesomeness” of God. God is to be worshipped and praised for His majesty and glory and Psalm 24 is David’s expression of worship of the God he believed in. May we worship the “King Of Glory” today as David did.
