Psalms: Truth and Treasures Day 7
Spending time with God daily helps us to learn to wait on Him. Patience is not something that comes naturally to most of us. When we grow in our faith and learn to wait on God, we can be blessed as David was.
David was often thinking about God and how wonderful God was to him but David was blessed to know that God was thinking about him. I’m verses 5 and 17 David is amazed that Holy God thinks about him. It is wonderful to know that God thinks about you, that the God of this universe has you in His thoughts.
Isaiah was inspired by God to remind us that those who wait upon the Lord would have their strength renewed and mount up with wings like eagles. I hope this time of social isolation will be the time we draw close to God, wait on Him to renew and refresh
