Wisdom for Life's Journey - Proverbs 11
God makes His desires known to man through His Word and revelation. Wisdom for life is a treasure and can be found by searching the scriptures. The book of Proverbs has been preserved for us down through the ages. The truth found in these God-inspired words were written that we might receive counsel from God on how we are to live.
Proverbs 11 tells us that those who pursue righteousness are God’s delight. We are told to watch our tongue and keep things to ourselves. “ A talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.” “ A generous soul will be made rich.” Proverbs 11 ends on a high note when it declares. “ The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life and he who wins souls is wise.” May we pursue fellowship with God today and receive His wisdom to guide our way.
