Wisdom for Life's Journey - Proverbs 22
God has preserved His Word to remind us of things that are good for us. In Proverbs 22 there are several reminders that serve to encourage us in the way we should live. In verse one, we are reminded that a good name is more precious than riches. In verse 4 we are reminded that a lifestyle that expresses itself in humility and fear of the Lord will be honored.
We are reminded in verse 9 that our generosity to others who are less fortunate will be blessed. We are reminded to avoid those who do evil so, we are not influenced by them. It is important to read God’s Word daily and apply the truth to our lives. By these truths we will be blessed.
