Wisdom for Life's Journey - Proverbs 30
Proverbs 30 is written by a man named Agur who we know very little about. We can see from the things God led him to write; that he had a deep faith in God and reverence for Him. He recognizes that God is so much mightier and higher than he is. In verse 5 he declares that” Every Word of God is pure
It is interesting that Agur mentions in several verses the wickedness of some generations. It reminds us of the generation that has arisen in these last days. This is a generation that exalts itself and devises evil as Agur described in verses 32 and 33. He warns that the wrath of a generation that exalts itself will lead to strife. Pray for God to deliver us from the strife and turmoil of this generation as we put our trust in Him.
