Wisdom for Life's Journey
There are some dire warnings in the book of Proverbs. The wisdom of a Father warning His children to stay away from the path that leads to destruction. The way to avoid the path that leads to destruction is found in verse one of Proverbs 7. By keeping the Word of God in our hearts and embracing the wisdom that comes from His commands, we can be delivered from those that seek to destroy us.
This father understood the attractions of the world and how easy it is to be entrapped by Satan and his designs to enslave us. We are warned that many strong people have fallen victim to the idols of the world and have been destroyed. It is of utmost importance that we listen to the voice of wisdom and chose to walk a different path. God provides the wisdom we need. Daily may we be in His Word and at His throne of Grace to receive His power to walk the path of righteousness.
