Psalms: Truth and Treasures Day 2

What a refreshing, beautiful morning to spend some time with the Lord. I felt led, as I walked and talked with God this morning, to just thank Him and praise Him for life itself. When I read Psalm 8, I found myself wondering as David did; how this “Awesome God” allows me to know Him. I thanked God for my eyes that are able to behold the beauty of His creations.
This wonder Psalm of David reminds me that God has given us the responsibility to be stewards over His creations. The Bible teaches us that we will be judged on how faithful we carried out our stewardship responsibilities. Spending time with God each day, communicating with Him in prayer and learning from His Word prepares us and enables us to be faithful stewards. “A special time, a special place, connecting with God Ann living in Grace.”

Psalms - Truth and Treasures

As I begin this venture into the Truth ‘s and Treasures of Psalms, I am trusting that God is going to reveal Himself in exciting ways these next three weeks. I look forward to sharing each day what God reveals to me and look forward to the time when we can get together and praise Him for His revelations.
Psalm one presents a contrast between those who delight in God and His Word and those who live for the world. There are promises for those who take the commands of God seriously and desire to follow The Lord as they live life. God says they shall be blessed and fruitful as trees planted by the water. Spend time with God each day and allow Him to grow you as you abide with Him. You will be a blessing to your family and others because of your connection to the “Life-giving source” that never runs dry.
