Wisdom for Life's Journey - Proverbs 11

God makes His desires known to man through His Word and revelation. Wisdom for life is a treasure and can be found by searching the scriptures. The book of Proverbs has been preserved for us down through the ages. The truth found in these God-inspired words were written that we might receive counsel from God on how we are to live.
Proverbs 11 tells us that those who pursue righteousness are God’s delight. We are told to watch our tongue and keep things to ourselves. “ A talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.” “ A generous soul will be made rich.” Proverbs 11 ends on a high note when it declares. “ The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life and he who wins souls is wise.” May we pursue fellowship with God today and receive His wisdom to guide our way.

Wisdom for Life's Journey - Proverbs 10

Life is full of choices and consequences.  Proverbs 10 contains wisdom for decisions in life and offers warnings to those who choose to live an unrestrained life. God hates sin and wickedness and will bring judgement to those who choose that lifestyle. God loves righteousness and obedience and will reward with blessings those who choose to walk in those pathways.
God provides wisdom for those who seek it through His Word. His Words are a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Proverbs 10:6 says “Blessings are on the head of the righteous.” Proverbs 10:25 says  the righteous has an everlasting foundation. Seek the Lord today in prayer and through His Word for wisdom to walk the pathways of righteousness.
